"Best pub grub around Bedford"

On a hectic Saturday we dropped in for dinner. Small party of three of us. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. As a starter, the cauliflower fritters, with curry sauce, were superb. Lovely chicken, ham and leek pie to follow and rounded off with a creme brulee and fruit compote. Washed down with a couple of bottles of beautifully smooth Rioja (one just wasn't enough) we returned home slowly but happily.
A discretionary 10% service charge will be applied to all food, and food with beverage, sales - please ask for it to be removed, if you do not wish to pay it.
